After a couple of frustrating weeks of not being able to raid Molten Core due to instance bugs, we were finally bug-free this weekend and we did something about it.

In our first real sortie to Molten Core, we were able to defeat Lucifron.

While I'm not going to go into details about the fight itself, it sure was fun for our 30 or so raiders. To think that today's server problems almost added to our recent frustrations as well. I'm glad people weathered the storm and we were able to carry on with the raid after the server restarted.

As for loot, we were all hopeful for some epic drops but that seems to be for a future raid. We did get this Tome off of Lucifron. Congratulations goes out to Blacob, who did some very good work in the Core and really earned the Tome, albeit being the token hunter.

Well folks, the ice has been broken, expect more named to drop very soon.
